Beloved Modern Family star dies just days after series finishes filming

evoke.ieIt’s a sad day for fans and the Modern Family team as they have lost a very important cast member. Beatrice, the French bulldog who played Jay’s beloved pooch Stella, passed away suddenly mere days after filming wrapped on the final season of the show.
Beatrice had been playing Stella since 2012, where she replaced Brigette from season four, after a dispute between the showrunners and Brigette’s owners kicked off.
Stella and Jay’s relationship became a much-loved joke on the show as Jay originally disliked the pup but later became obsessed with her to Gloria’s dismay.
