Barlinnie jail hit with covid outbreak as 'significant number' test positive for virus

Covid-19. The Scottish Prison Service (SPS) confirmed the outbreak at Barlinnie comes after a number of staff tested positive last week.

The detected cases sparked testing at the jail in Riddrie, in the north-east of Glasgow, following which a number of inmates have also tested positive.
