Aldi is being praised by shoppers for making an 'incredible' gesture to OAPs and the most vulnerable in society after Boris Johnson urged people to remain at home for a prolonged period.
The supermarket announced news on Facebook that it will be donating £250,000 to Age UK - a decision which has been heavily praised.
The Facebook post, which has racked up tens of thousands of likes, comments and shares, reads: "In these difficult times it’s important for us all to look after the most vulnerable people in our communities.
