Imahara died suddenly on Monday at age 49 from a brain aneurism. The engineer and roboticist co-hosted the popular science show from 2005 to 2014, for over 200 episodes.The show tests and debunks commonly held scientific notions and rumors based on pop culture.
The eight episodes in the marathon will include Imahara’s favorites, such as testing whether a hotel room shower curtain can be converted into a parachute.The marathon will also include “Killer Robots: Robo Games 2011,” in which Imahara served as tour guide through the International Robogames Competition, following everyday engineers.
