Anne Dexter has been ensuring deliveries go as smoothly as they can at University Hospital Wishaw.The midwife was taken aback by a different kind of delivery when we turned up at her front door in Netherton with a bouquet of flowers.The mum-of-two works as a midwife at the hospital’s maternity unit and on top of that is chairperson of Orchard Primary school’s Language and Community Support Centre (LCSC) group.To thank Anne, right, for all of her sterling work at the hospital, and in the local community for the school support group, Laura Watt nominated her for our Say it with Flowers competition on behalf of the support group and parents.“She’s organised two separate grants for all the kids at Orchard with an autism diagnosis,” said Laura.
