Wayne Rooney has lifted the lid on his half-time dressing room rows with Sir Alex Ferguson ahead of his reunion with Manchester United, as Derby County prepare to face United in the fifth round of the FA Cup.
Ferguson swooped to sign Rooney, who was just 18 years old at the time, from Everton in August 2004, signing the youngster for £25.6m.
Though it seemed a hefty transfer fee for someone so young, Rooney paid United back in almost every sense, as he went on to become one of the club's greatest-ever players.
