Family at the scene, in Brownhills, near Walsall in the West Midlands, named him as Ciaran Morris and said he 'shouldn’t even have been here', the Mirror reports.
Police say they believe a BMW was involved in a collision with another car before striking the baby’s pram, as he was being pushed along by family, at around 4pm.
Ciaran suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital, but doctors were unable to save him. His parents have been named as dad Camaron Morris and mum Codie Holyman, both aged 18.
