Joe Exotic
Joseph Allen Maldonado-Passage (born March 5, 1963), better known by his stage name Joe Exotic, is an American former zoo operator, internet personality, musician, and convicted felon. The former owner and operator of the Greater Wynnewood Exotic Animal Park (a.k.a. G. W. Zoo) in Wynnewood, Oklahoma, Maldonado-Passage had claimed to be the most prolific breeder of tigers in the United States. He twice unsuccessfully ran for public office, first for President of the United States in 2016 as an independent, and then for Governor of Oklahoma in 2018 as a Libertarian.
Carole Baskin
Carole Baskin (born June 6, 1961) is an American animal rights activist and owner of Big Cat Rescue, a non-profit animal sanctuary based near Tampa, Florida. Baskin drew public attention when she was featured in the 2020 Netflix documentary series Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness about Oklahoma-based private zoo operator known as Joe Exotic. The Netflix series follows both Baskin and Joe Exotic, filming their ongoing and escalating feuds over exotic animals in private zoos. Following the series' release, Baskin has been targeted by Internet memes related to the disappearance of Don Lewis, her second husband.

nypost.comNetflix’s smash coronavirus pandemic lockdown hit “Tiger King” is set to debut later this month, however, star Carole Baskin is not too happy about it.Baskin, 60, is suing the streaming service and the docuseries’ producers, demanding footage with her in the second season be taken out, according to TMZ.The big cat lover, who was featured in the first season, is asking the judge to stop any videos of her and her Big Cat Rescue organization in the upcoming season.The suit alleges that the scenes with Baskin shown in the latest trailer are misrepresenting what really happened during filming.The reality star wants the court to force Netflix to erase any footage of her in the promo materials, teasers and trailers.
