Royal baker Mark Bennett has unveiled the finished product for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee cake in a series of posts on Instagram.
He revealed the lavish five tier creation just days before the long weekend of celebrations got underway, which has seen the likes of Harry and Meghan reunite with the Royal Family.
Mark was 'honoured' by the opportunity to design, make and decorate the cake, which he said could not have been achieved "without the unwavering support of [his] loving wife, Emma." The cake is iced in white and topped with an edible crown, a design which is reflected in the five tiers to emulate a crown-like shape across the whole cake.
The tiers are decorated with platinum coloured silver swirls, much like the 'points' on a royal headdress.
