STRICTLY Come Dancing star John Whaite revealed he broke down in tears during training with pro dancer Johannes Radebe - after a very bizarre row.

The Bake Off star, who is making history as the first male couple on the show, admitted Johannes was being TOO nice to him and he became overcome with emotion.

Appearing on Steph’s Pack Lunch, he rsaid: “He was being too nice. I said ‘Johannes, I’m just not getting it so please can you talk me through the steps, be horrible to me and I’ll get it.’ “He was like ‘No darling, I don’t do that’.

I started crying…” John and Johannes are rehearsing daily from ten am to seven or eight pm, which has been a “stressful” experience for the chef.
