Country parks are to become more accessible after South Lanarkshire Council announced car parks would be reopening.As phase one of lifting lockdown restrictions begins today (Friday, May 29) vehicle access to some country parks, public parks and other popular destinations has been restored.Chatelherault, Calderglen, James Hamilton Heritage Park, Lanark Loch, Strathaven Park, Lanark Racecourse, Tinto Hill and Greenhall Park will be able to welcome visitors from further afield again.However, government guidance is to travel no more than five miles for exercise or leisure and physical distancing should be maintained when visiting parks.All play parks in South Lanarkshire will remain closed during phase one and they won't reopen until
