Officers are now investigating the tragic incident which happened between 7.45am and 10.00am on Wednesday, December 9.A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "The area is popular with dog walkers and police at Largs are keen to speak with anyone who was in the area at that time and witnessed anything suspicious.
