HBO Max released the first two episodes of the Sex & the City revival series on Thursday (December 9). The new series centers on Carrie, Miranda, and Charlotte as they navigate the journey from the complicated reality of life and friendship in their 30s to the even more complicated reality of life and friendship in their 50s.

While Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, and Kristin Davis reprised their roles from the original series for the revival, Kim Cattrall did not return as Samantha Jones.
