Snoop Dogg has issued a response to recent allegations of sexual assault made against him by a woman who regularly worked on-stage with the rapper.The Jane Doe accuser filed the lawsuit in a Los Angeles federal court on Wednesday (February 9), claiming that Snoop (real name Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr.) and his associate Bishop Don “Magic” Juan (Donald Campbell) assaulted her after she attended a Snoop concert at Club Heat Ultra Lounge in Anaheim, California on May 29, 2013.According to Rolling Stone, the woman alleges in the lawsuit that she was assaulted in back-to-back attacks after accepting a ride home from Campbell and wound up at his residence against her wishes. She claims Campbell assaulted her at the residence when he “removed his penis from his pants” and “repeatedly shoved his penis into (her) mouth”.It’s then claimed that Campbell later demanded she accompany him to a recording studio where Snoop was purportedly filming his TV series, Snoop Dogg’s Double G News Network.

Dave McNary Film ReporterSAG-AFTRA’s Los Angeles board has voted to oppose ratification of a successor deal on its master contract for feature films and primetime television work.The move came Tuesday, two weeks after the national board of the performers union had approved sending out the contract for ratification by a vote of 67.6% to 32.4%.

Member voting commenced Thursday on SAG-AFTRA’s new TV/theatrical deal, the performers’ union announced, and additional details of the agreement were released in a lengthy ballot packet available online. Voting concludes July 22.

The national board of performers’ union SAG-AFTRA, meeting via videoconference Monday, approved the new TV/theatrical agreement reached earlier this month with major motion picture and television studios, the union announced. The vote was 67.61 percent in favor and 32.39 percent opposed, reflecting political strains in the union.

The Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) National Board of Directors met today in a one-day videoconference plenary and approved the tentative agreement reached with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers on June 11. With the board’s approval, the deal covering motion picture, television and new media production now goes to the union’s membership for ratification.The board approved the tentative agreement by a super majority of 67.61% to 32.39% and recommended a vote of “yes” to ratify the contracts.SAG-AFTRA President and Negotiating Committee Chair Gabrielle Carteris said, “I am thankful to the board for its approval and recommendation of this agreement.
