They're like, ‘What's good about it?'” Reynolds said his daughters then asked if he could give them a shout-out on the show. “I was like, ‘Sure, I'll say hi to you guys.' But they wanted me to pull my ear to say hello.” Translation: Betty, Inez, and James wanted Reynolds to send them secret signals on GMA.
Honestly, a brilliant suggestion. “Nezzie [Inez] wanted me to rub [my sleeve],” Reynolds continued. “And I was like, ‘Is Robin Roberts gonna be stealing second base?’” To this, the GMA co-hosts, including Roberts, burst into laughter.
