Wright grabbed Blinker's long hair as he ran past him and the Dutch midfielder was visibly shocked at what happened in the English Premier League clash.
The Arsenal legend issued an apology to Blinker on a show with Gary Neville as he watched the clip back and the Match of the Day pundit was clearly annoyed at himself, despite it being more than 20 years ago.
The pair would go onto be team-mates at Celtic Park for a season when Wright joined the Hoops in 1999, with Blinker already there.
