"She said it was like a black cloud over her and she didn't feel like she could be herself properly but she's back to her best now.” The dispute began in 2019 and in June 2020 the wife of footballer Jamie Vardy began the procedures to sue Coleen for defamation.

After a gruelling trial in May, the judge ruled in favour of Coleen, meaning Rebekah is faced with estimated legal costs of approximately £3 million.
