The detective comedy about Shawn Spencer (James Roday Rodriguez), a fake psychic detective, and Burton "Gus" Guster (Dulé Hill), his best friend and somewhat reluctant partner in crime (or at least solving crimes), ran for eight seasons on USA and now has two feature-length films under its belt, the second of which, Psych 2: Lassie Come Home, is now streaming on Peacock, NBCUniversal's just-launched streaming service.The new film features nods to Hitchcock and has a strong focus on Timothy Omundson's Carlton Lassiter, aka Lassie, who is recovering after being shot and left for dead (Omundson suffered a stroke in real life, and the film was his first project back to work), and is another classic Psych.
