Prince Philip, 99, has been taken to the King Edward VII's Hospital as a precaution after feeling unwell, based on his doctor's advice.
Prince Philip is expected to stay at the London-based hospital for a few days to be kept under observation. The King Edward VII's Hospital describes itself online as "London's foremost hospital" which attracts the "best consultants".
The private hospital also boasts an impressive roster of patients, as over the years many members of the Royal Family have checked in.
Prince Philip's current stay at King Edward VII's is not his first, as he has been admitted several times in previous years.
