Prince Harry
Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, KCVO ADC (Henry Charles Albert David;15 September 1984) is the younger son of Charles, Prince of Wales and Diana, Princess of Wales and is sixth in the line of succession to the British throne. Harry was educated at Wetherby School, Ludgrove School, and Eton College. He spent parts of his gap year in Australia and Lesotho. He then underwent officer training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. He was commissioned as a cornet (second lieutenant) into the Blues and Royals, serving temporarily with his brother Prince William, and he completed his training as a troop leader. In 2007–08, he served for over ten weeks in Helmand, Afghanistan, but was pulled out after an Australian magazine revealed his presence there. He returned to Afghanistan for a 20-week deployment in 2012–13 with the Army Air Corps. He left the army in June 2015.

Prince Harry says he will 'make sure the Queen is protected'

Prince Harry has revealed in a TV interview that he plans to "make sure the Queen is protected" and "has the right people around her." Speaking on a recent edition of NBC's Today show The Duke of Sussex also revealed that the monarch - who turns 96 tomorrow (Thursday, April 21) - is currently "on great form" despite ongoing mobility problems.

The Duke explained that he and his wife Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, had called in to see his grandmother at Windsor Castle last week whilst en route to the Netherlands for the Invictus Games, of which he's a private patron.

The visit is thought to be the first time the couple have visited the UK together since they stepped back from royal duties in early 2020.

37-year-old Harry, who was not at the memorial service for his grandfather Phillip, the Duke of Edinburgh, in London last month, also saw Prince Charles while they were in town. "Being with her (the Queen), it was great," he said.
