‘Pose’ Donates Medical Supply Props to Hospital Fighting Coronavirus

In the midst of the COVID-19 outbreak, FX show Pose has donated medical supply props to a New York City hospital in need. The show follows characters who are impacted by HIV in the ‘80s and ‘90s, so many scenes are shot in hospitals and clinics.

For these scenes, the show uses real medical supplies as props. According to the show’s out co-creator, Ryan Murphy, these supplies will be donated to Mount Sinai hospital in New York. “On my FX series Pose, one of our regular sets and locations is a hospital where in season 3 (spoiler) Blanca works as an AIDS/HIV counselor,” Murphy wrote on Instagram Sunday (March 22). “Today we donated all our prop supplies to Mount Sinai hospital to help nurses and doctors battling the Covid outbreak.
