Officers were called to Crabtree Road in Wigan at around 8.30pm last Saturday (June 19) to a report of a shooting. It is believed the incident followed on from a disturbance on Ridyard Street earlier that day.
Officers arrived at the scene to find a man had suffered 'life-changing injuries' after being shot in the leg. Read more: Parent slams nursery after three-year-old escaped and walked home alone down busy main road The man, 34, remains in hospital in a critical condition.
