Before storming off set and later quitting GMB, Piers came under fire for saying he “didn’t believe” Prince Harry’s wife when she said she had suffered with suicidal thoughts and sought help from the institution in her interview with Oprah Winfrey.
Piers later backtracked on his comments and insisted: “It’s not for me to question, whether she felt suicidal – I wasn’t in her mind and that’s for her to say.
