Peter Lawwell attack slammed by Celtic legend Chris Sutton as he admits incident may put top players off Glasgow

Peter Lawwell ’s home yesterday morning doesn’t put top-name players and managers off coming to Glasgow. Former Celtic striker Sutton made the journey north from Chelsea under Martin O’Neill and knows the Parkhead club has yet to announce a new boss – believed to be Eddie Howe.

But the firebomb attack on chief executive Lawwell’s home, that forced the 61-year-old to flee the property, has highlighted how the football scene can be in Glasgow.
