At the time, a spokesperson described Peter as "devastated" by the news. On what would have been his 62nd birthday, the singer has taken to Instagram to share a sweet message.
He wrote: "Happy birthday my brother RIP," followed by a praying hands emoji on a navy blue background.The TV personality, who also has three other brothers and a sister, added: "Thinking of you everyday until we meet again," with a sad face emoji underneath.
