Stephen Colbert Puts Heat on Bill Clinton, the Bidens and AOC in DNC Night Two Live Monologue
Stephen Colbert tackled Democratic dynasties, delegates and Trump as part of his second night of live Democratic National Convention coverage. The Late Show host took more frequent aim at Trump than he did on the previous night, while also picking apart night two’s theme of “Leadership Matters.” While Colbert delivered plenty of jabs about past and present party bigwigs, including the Kennedys, Bill Clinton and the Bidens, he first used the speeches of those like former Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams and former deputy attorney general Sally Yates to take quick shots at the president.
