The season 2 cast of Love Is Blind picked up filming months after their weddings for a three-episode series titled After the Altar.

It's been six months since fans got a chance to see which couples from season 2 made it to «I do» and which ones called it quits. In that time, both married couples, Iyanna McNeely and Jarrette Jones and Danielle Ruhl and Nick Thompson, have sadly ended their marriages. But in the previously taped special, which debuted on Netflix on Friday, they were all still together, working through their differences. In fact, the one pair whose future remained up in the air during the three-episode special was Deepti Vempati and Kyle Abrams.

Emily Longeretta “Love Is Blind” is back! The Netflix reality series, produced by Kinetic Content and hosted by Nick and Vanessa Lachey, will return for its 12-episode third season on Oct. 19, the streaming service announced on Wednesday. Once again, the experiment will follow singles looking for love — this time in Dallas — as they are hopeful to fall for The One without ever having seen them. The pairs who choose to get engaged then get to meet and love in the real world, and attempt to plan their weddings and decide if they will stay married. Chris Coelen, Ally Simpson, Eric Detwiler, Brent Gauches, Brian Smith and Heather Crowe executive produce. The first four episodes of Season 3 will be released on Oct. 19. Episodes 5-7 will debut Oct. 26, followed by episodes 8-10 on Nov. 9. The finale and the reunion will drop on Nov. 9.

I should have did what Jarrette did and just turned off all my comments to begin with, but I just couldn't help myself and, by the end of the day, I went to sleep crying,» Iyanna revealed. She said that most of the comments involved people «making assumptions about people that you don't know.» One aspect of her time on the show that she's struggled with is people blaming her split on how her relationship was portrayed. «The annoying part is basing their opinions off an hour combined screen time from a 10-episode show and kind of using whatever that excuse is to explain a year and a half relationship,» she said. Iyanna noted that she has turned off her notifications, adding, «And I feel fine ever since.» Following the announcement, she has been leaning on several of her fellow female co-stars, including Natalie, Deepti Vempati, and Danielle Ruhl, who filed for divorce from Nick Thompson that same week after the pair also got together on the show. «We went out with the whole crew  — you, me, Deepti, Danielle — and I was like, 'This is good,'» Iyanna said.
