Witherspoon told Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush-Hager, who both marveled at the resemblance between the mother-daughter duo while appearing on the "Today" show.

Reese Witherspoon "doesn't see the resemblance" between herself and her daughter. The 46-year-old actress is mother to Ava Elizabeth, 23, with her ex-partner Ryan Phillippe but when she was shown a photo of the two together during an appearance on 'The Today Show', she insisted that the two do not look alike. Host Jenna Bush Hager said: "Wait, y'all are twins!" Reese replied: "She and I don't see it that much!" The 'Legally Blonde' star - who is also mother to Deacon, 18, with 'Cruel Intentions' actor Ryan, 48, as well as 10-year-old Tennessee with husband Jim Toth - also explained that parenthood is about "managing" children when they are small but as children age, they rely more on "emotional support" as she reflected on the age span of her brood.

Reese Witherspoon has been hearing the comparison for years, that she and 23-year-old daughter Ava are a spitting image of each other.
