England captain Kane has reportedly told Spurs he wants to leave in the summer, with City quickly installed as bookmakers' favourites to sign him.
Some reports even suggest Kane has determined that a transfer to City represents his best chance of winning silverware that has so far eluded him in North London.
City are in the market for a new striker in the summer, with Sergio Aguero leaving after the Champions League final, but Guardiola dismissed any questions about signing Kane after seeing his side beaten by Brighton on Tuesday.
