It was far from an easy night for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side but it might have been more straightforward if Maguire's first-half header hadn't been chalked off by referee Kevin Friend.
Maguire was adjudged to have fouled Burnley's Erik Pieters as he nodded in from the back post and Pogba told Sky Sports that the decision was unfair.
