More mortgage payment support needed for those at risk of losing their jobs as a result of the coronavirus crisis

Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) recently confirmed that mortgage borrowers who continue to face payment difficulties due to the impact of coronavirus will be able to get further support from lenders tailored to their needs in the coming months.Mortgage holders can ask their lender for a payment holiday under current guidance which expires after October 31.But the FCA has said lenders will still be able to target those most in need, with help which will be based on individual circumstances.However, the Centre for Policy Studies (CPS) said that more must be done to prevent homeowners who lose their job during the coronavirus crisis from being at risk from also losing the roof over their head.The think tank warned that, as the furlough.
