Michael Owen admits fear of seeing daughter Gemma kissing and sharing bed on Love Island

Michael Owen has broken his silence on his daughter Gemma appearing on the hit ITV dating programme Love Island nearly one week after her entrance.The former professional footballer, 42, has desperately been trying to keep a lid on his thoughts after shutting down a question about it during an appearance on Live UEFA Nations League in Germany on Tuesday.

But now, it appears the father of brunette beauty Gemma, 19, is ready to share his opinions – and they're all indicative of a very protective dad.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, he expressed his frustration at seeing his daughter sharing a bed with Italian Stallion Davide Saclimenti, 27, as he shared: "It’s not something any father wants to watch, is it?" She said, 'Yes'. I said, 'I did not bank on this'." Despite his annoyance over the bed-sharing situation, Michael confessed that he's quite lucky as Gemma didn't make "physical contact" with Davide in bed as she "had her back to the guy". "If there is physical contact I think I’ll be throwing something at the screen.
