Michael B Jordan has paid an emotional tribute to his Black Panther co-star Chadwick Boseman, describing him as “my big brother” and lamenting “I wish we had more time”.
Boseman’s death was announced on Friday, plunging Hollywood into shock and grief. The 43-year-old had privately fought colon cancer since being diagnosed in 2016, his family said in a statement.
Tributes have since flooded in, with praise for Boseman’s legacy and significance to millions of fans around the world following his starring role in the groundbreaking Black Panther.
The film was a landmark moment for representation in Hollywood. Jordan played N’Jadaka in Marvel’s influential blockbuster smash hit, the villain to Boseman’s hero T’Challa.
