Manchester United have been linked with a sensational move to re-sign club legend Cristiano Ronaldo amid reports he could leave Juventus.
Reports in Italy say the current financial demands on Juventus as a result of the coronavirus crisis might force the Old Lady to sell Ronaldo, 35, who joined from Real Madrid in 2018.
Ronaldo spent six years at United between 2003 and 2009 and is still highly thought of at Old Trafford. He received a heroes' welcome when Juventus played United in the Champions League group stage in 2018.
Now, although he is under contract at Juventus until 2022, Il Messaggero report that the forward could move on if Juve are unable to keep up with his financial demands during and after the coronavirus crisis.
