Officers were called to reports of a concern for welfare of a man on Cheetham Hill Road this morning (August 30) at 9.10am. A man was sadly found dead on the pavement close to the Cheetham Wines shop, police said. A file has been passed to the coroner and attempts are being made to trace the man's next of kin. Cheetham Hill Road remained closed on Sunday evening after being taped off near the Esso Garage at the junction with Heywood
