thesun.co.ukLOVE Island's Ellie Brown has been banned for driving for six months after speeding at 101mph. The reality star, 22, was well over the 70mph speed limit as she drove her £40,000 Mercedes-Benz GLC on the M42 at Curdworth, Warwickshire, in June 2019.
She had put forward an exceptional hardship plea insisting a ban would affect her ability to work as a model, Metro reports.
But a magistrate rejected it and handed down a ban as well as a £1,937 fine. Ellie, who earns £2,000 a week after tax, pleaded guilty at an earlier hearing, before the case was adjourned to allow her to put together her mitigation.
