It might as well have been a marriage proposal the way the islanders went on. However, the whole ‘going official’ situation had the unexpected result of making Love Island viewers want to shout at Jake over the huge mistake he made.
Before pulling Liberty for the all-important chat, Jake confessed to the boys that he was ready to take the next step saying: ‘I think it’s maybe time to take the plunge and put a label on it’ and enlisted the fellow islander’s to help him throw together a romantic meal for Liberty.
