Love Island is set to be moving to a new prime location, bosses have confirmed after speculation emerged of set changes to the hit dating show for the upcoming series.
Along with a host of fresh faced contestants, the ITV2 reality dating show will return this summer with a completely different house after filming at the same Majorcan property for the last five years.
Managing director of ITV’s media and entrainment, Kevin Lygo, has said Love Island is moving to a “marvellous” new mansion in what appears to be a bid to revitalise the show, which will enter its eight series in a few month’s time.
