Les McKeown, who was best known as the lead singer Bay City Rollers, died on Tuesday (April 20) at the age of 65.
His death was announced on Twitter, but no cause of death was given at this time. “It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of our beloved husband and father Leslie Richard McKeown. Leslie died suddenly at home on Tuesday 20 April 2021.
We are currently making arrangements for his funeral and ask for privacy after the shock of our profound loss. Thank you,” the post read.
The Bay City Rollers were known for songs “Saturday Night,” and their cover of the Four Seasons’ “Bye Bye Baby.” Our thoughts are with Les‘ loved ones during this time.
