Meghan Markle
Meghan, Duchess of Sussex (born Rachel Meghan Markle; August 4, 1981) is an American member of the British royal family and former actress.
Markle was raised in Los Angeles, California and has a mixed ethnic heritage. During her studies at Northwestern University, she began playing small roles in television series and films. From 2011 to 2017, she played Rachel Zane on the American legal drama Suits. Emergency services were called to the crash on Tyldesley Road just before 7pm tonight (Friday). A male was taken to hospital from the scene.
The extent of his injuries - or any details of his age - have not yet been confirmed. Reports on social media suggest a cyclist was involved in the crash.
The air ambulance is also believed to have landed at the scene. Tonight, Tyldesley Road remains cordoned off between High Street and Hamilton Street.
