manchestereveningnews.co.ukdirect to your inboxThousands of pounds have been raised for the family of a young dad-to who was killed in a motorcycle accident just days before Christmas.Lewis Taylor, 22, of Burnley was set to become a dad for the first time to a baby girl, due in March.He was involved in a collision on Harold Street in Burnley, Lancashire, at around 12.55pm on December 23.
Emergency services discovered Mr Taylor with serious injuries and was sadly pronounced dead at the scene shortly afterwards.A fundraising campaign has since been launched in his memory to give the 'local legend' a proper 'send-off'.
It has already exceeded it's £3,000 target, with scores of people contributing to the fundraising effort.His girlfriend paid an emotional tribute to her.
