Although cancer of the skin is one of the most common cancers in those under the age of 30, melanoma is not commonly seen in those under 60.In her Instagram Stories, the 38-year-old mother of two’s biopsy involved removing the mole entirely, and placing under a microscope to detect cancerous cells.
If so, doctors then check the patient’s body to see if the melanoma has spread. This cancer can appear anywhere on the body, including the eyes and even spread to internal organs.
