Former First Minister of Scotland was on the ITV show to talk to Kate and co-host Adil Ray as he launches a new pro-independence party, Alba.
Mr Salmond said he has launched Alba as they're "trying to build an independent supermajority in the parliament" and believes it is "the way to go forward to take Scotland to independence." But, he was also asked whether he could work with First Minister Nicola Sturgeon - despite her saying last week she has no plans to work with Mr Salmond if he is re-elected to Holyrood.
