John Christopher Depp II (born June 9, 1963) is an American actor, singer, producer, and musician. He has been nominated for ten Golden Globe Awards, winning one for Best Actor for his performance of the title role in Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (2008), and has been nominated for three Academy Awards for Best Actor, among other accolades. Johnny Depp has been spotted in Birmingham - ahead of an expected performance at the Symphony Hall tonight. The star has been seen on tour across the UK with his long time friend Jeff Beck in recent days.

Beck is performing at the Symphony Hall tonight - and it looks even more likely Depp will join him after he was spotted at a Birmingham restaurant on Sunday evening.

Photos and videos shared to social media show the star at Varanasi, off Broad Street. Fans shared footage and photos of the Pirates of the Caribbean actor at the Indian restaurant, which is close to Symphony Hall.
