Jet2 to resume Scots holidays to Cyprus next week as some restrictions remain in place

holidays from Scotland to Cyprus from next week. The budget airline previously cancelled all trips to Paphos and Larnaca from Scottish airports due to Cyprus' “prohibitive entry restrictions” amid the coronavirus pandemic.

But Scots holidaymakers will be able to fly with the airline to both destinations from August 17 - despite some strict entry restrictions remaining in force in Cyprus.

People travelling over to the country will have to show evidence of a negative Covid-19 test, which must be taken within 72 hours of travel.

However, anyone arriving back in the Scotland from Cyprus is exempt from the Scottish Government’s 14-day rules on quarantine.
