Join thousands of others who have signed up to the weekly Scotland Now newsletter for the latest Scottish heritage and culture news.An incredible clip posted on Twitter has shown a herd of deer swimming near North Uist.Twitter user Alex MacInnes posted the video on the social media site after it was taken by his brother who was out fishing for shellfish.The Scot explained that this is a regular occurrence and his brother helped to ensure their passage back on to dry land.Filmed to a soundtrack of Runrig, it shows a stag and nine hinds swimming not far from his brother's boat.It's likely the stag was looking for for fresh grazing land away from rivals.Responding to the post, one person added that her partner, who is an ex-shellfish fisherman.
