ITV bosses are planning to pre-record the hit show this summer after having to film the last two series in Wales due to the pandemic.
Geordie hosts Ant and Dec are on board with the slightly shorter two-week run - which is set to be pre-recorded in July, The Mirror reports.
It has been reported that the spin-off South Africa series will feature I'm A Celeb stars from previous years. It will either be shown in November, if plans for filming the live series in Australia fall through due to Covid restrictions, or kept on ice to be broadcast early next year.
