I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here in relation to its use of non-native wildlife in the latest series, it has been reported.It follows concern that some non-native species – such as cockroaches, maggots and spiders – could potentially escape into the Welsh countryside during filming, according to the Guardian.The animals are used in the ITV reality show’s “bushtucker” trials, in which celebrities take part in challenges to win food for their campmates.The programme, now in its 20th series, is usually hosted in Australia but this year is taking place at Gwrych Castle in North Wales because of the coronavirus pandemic.According to the Guardian, authorities are now investigating ITV after complaints from naturalist and TV presenter Iolo.
