Manchester council wants to revamp Hough End between Chorlton and Withington as part of a long-term vision for it to become a ‘vibrant seven-day-a-week sport and leisure destination’.

It is also proposed to build two 3G football pitches and two separate pitches for baseball and softball that would only be available to paying customers.
