Lizzie McGuire star Hilary Duff told her Instagram followers: “To all you young millennial a**holes that keep going out partying: go home”, before adding, “stop killing old people please.” Meanwhile, Swift begged fans to follow guidelines and to cancel their plans as the virus continues to force people into quarantine.

The singer said: "I love you so much and need to express my concern that things aren’t being taken seriously enough right now.
